During the COVID-19 pandemic and transition to reopening to the public, L. Tara Hooper and Associates Inc. remains committed to providing employment services while keeping our community safe. As restrictions are being lifted by the government, employers are hiring and we will continue to provide employment supports to our clients and meet the hiring needs of our employers.


Our office has been temporarily closed to the public however we will be slowly transitioning to in-person meetings. Initially, most contact will continue to be made via telephone or using other technologies. When meeting in-person, appointments will be staggered in order to keep our social distance. Social distancing means keeping a distance of at least two metres (six feet) between you and anyone who doesn’t live with you or provide support/physical care to you.


Safety precautions have been implemented and are being followed for health and safety measures as outlined by the Public Health Agency of Canada. This includes regular sanitization of our office, availability of hand soap, hand sanitizer and relevant personal protection equipment.


Anyone entering our office will be required to use hand sanitizer, wear face masks and wash their hands with soap and water when using the washroom facilities. Although wearing face masks are uncomfortable, our priority is to protect all people in our office. In the event that you are unable to wear face masks due to health-related issues, communication will be made via telephone or other technologies. If on-site job coaching support is required, strict guidelines and protocols will be followed at all times.


These preventative measures are for the benefit to our team, clients and our community as a whole. By taking these precautions, we are protecting the lives of all Canadians.
